The Lancraft Fife and Drum Corps travels all across Connecticut every year bringing an historical perspective to many fairs and parades. The corps has been around since 1888, and now is based in North Haven. On this occasion, the 350th anniversary celebration of Woodbury, CT, the town was very lucky to get them to perform. As Chairperson of Woodbury, Connecticut's 350th anniversary celebration, Janice Scruggs had to be a prime mover. All her work, and especially her talent to motivate others, proved very beneficial for the modest town settled in lower Litchfield, County, Connecticut.
