Meteos Wars - Mission Mode 5-6 - Meteo Video
The Metamo Ark has arrived at Planet Meteo once again, and I am much better at this game than I was before. Despite Meteo putting up as much of a fight it can at the one thing in the galaxy it considers a threat, it still falls in 1' 40".
Huh? Are there still more surprises from Meteo at this state? We destroyed Planet Meteo before, right? What is this thing? The ending explains it:
"Victory! A resounding success! This planet, which resembles the Planet Meteo, is no enemy, perhaps because it was born from a new civilization. After all, any miracle is possible in the vastness of space. But to the civilizations which outlived the threat of Planet Meteo, even this is no real problem, all things considered. For those civilizations born in the depth of space, it's all just another step in the rich tapestry of evolution."
Hmm. That's interesting. So this isn't the real Meteo (referred to as True Meteo in the original DS game). Its just a planet that has the same appearance as Meteo and the same abilities, but without the evil galaxy-snuffing intentions. It's just...there. Oh, now I feel bad for having picked on it. Oh well. It'll recover just fine.
Looking into this further, this Planet Meteo is probably the one you unlock and you can have available for play. As a neutral/benevolent Planet Meteo, it probably provides the Meteos blocks for the sparring matches that these Meteos survivors apparently enjoy so much. And as a Planet Meteo that isn't evil, the blocks probably contain much the same properties, except ths time rather harmless to the planets they hit.
Since this is the last run through Mission Mode, I'll put up the credits once more. Now you should be able to recognize a lot more of the characters shown during the credits. The one unfamiliar face left is the dark turquoise one under Miu Inamura's name that resembles a question mark. Well, that's an inhabitant of planet Unknown. You can't play as this planet, unfortunately. It would've been pretty cool if you could.
All of these Mission Mode runs have been under Normal so far, and you could see that the computer player here isn't really much of a match for me anymore. Do any of you want me to put up a run through Mission Mode under the Hard difficulty?
kendowater: First to watch ever!
nin10doadict: Yeah... A run through Hard mode would be fun to watch. I enjoy your Meteos Wars videos.
mariosonicman1: yea. hard mode would be sweet ^_^
Jwvermillion: What a plot twist... Who could've known that Meteo can be good huh? Credits roll again... You know it kinda would've be cool to have the Unknown planet playable as well seeing that it has sorta like avatar. It meteos could be like a complete mystery and random. So is Planet Meteo can be taken online? I kinda like to see it in action against other planets. Perhaps then most of the garbage blocks that it'll get will have that planet in there.
TamrielTerror2: I wouldn't mind you going through hard mode. It would be a way for you to completely complete the game :) I also find it funny how your an eye with an eye accessory on you lol
Overhazard: What would've been neat is if Unknown functioned as a random planet selector. Either the game chooses a random planet for you to use, or you use Unknown and its inhabitants and get the physics of a randomly chosen planet. Yeah, you can play as Planet Meteo online. Once you unlock Meteo, you can use it in any mode you wish. The five remaining Meteo colors have other planet inhabitants on them. I should show an online match where I use Meteo.
Overhazard: Well, I've already finished it on hard before. It's one of the Xbox Achievements in the game and undoubtedly the hardest one to get. I never mentioned it, but I have the Meteo accessory on for this round. But I think by now, most people who watch this video will know it's an accessory.
Jwvermillion: That'll be cool, and yes there should've been a random selector in the game, because I always want the game to surprise me as I play with my favorite planets.
destoryofdoom: Wicked! They show different kinds of planets.
dragonofdarknes4: u call urself darkness? with an icon of a cat -_-
HardcoreGame: Normal is completed. Take the Very Hard challenge.
abridgedfan: lol That's cool. I like seeing the meteo eye with the meteo accessory. yeah, hard mode would be cool, but I think you're above that too at this point. also, I don't know if you should show EVERY planet, because that might get repetetive. maybe only show the ones you like best?
Overhazard: I've already shown all 40 planets in this game. All that's left is the online matches I occasionally play. That's why I asked if anyone wants to see Mission Mode on Hard difficulty.
profpeanut: I support the Random planet button. Back in the DS version, I had to hold down up-right so the cursor would scroll through all the planets (save Meteo) then press A at a random moment. A Hard mode run would be appreciated too. I've heard tales of impossibility about it, but I'd like to see for myself.
profpeanut: "After all, any miracle is possible in the vastness of space." And that is the game's excuse as to how it can get away with using the strangest and most impossible planets ever conceived in the history of fiction.
Overhazard: The computer cheats like nobody's business, then cheats even more in the battle against Meteo, but it can be done. An Xbox Achievement is earned through beating it, so it's definitely not impossible.
