J S Bach "Herr Gott, nun sei gepreiset" BWV 601 Video

Advent chorale. Two versions: the second ("Herr Gott, nun sei gepreiset", now played) is overtly laudatory and solemn. As a consequence of such an understanding, we chose a denser registration, providing the chorale prelude with a very clear pedal part; the first ("Herr Christ, der ein'ge Gottessohn" - watch it in this very channel) expresses deep joy as the predominant mood. So, we opt for a not so heavy registration, and preserved the pedal part blending with the other three voices.
