Commentorio: Which background did you try? Some file types may cause problems and files that are too big can sometimes give a little trouble, too.

Commentorio: A Logitech Vantage. It's actually a karaoke microphone for the Wii, Playstation or XBox, but it works flawlessly with the PC or Mac, too. Come to think of it... I believe you have Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour, right? The microphone with those games work perfectly with your pc, too :-).

Commentorio: Thanks, Chand! I normally don't make 10 min videos either, but in this case, I felt it was necessary to just give you guys ALL the info on this topic :-). I'm on my mini-laptop right now which doesn't do your new layout justice. I'll have a look tomorrow!

BeauVlogs: Yeah I have a Rock Band mic and I've been using that when I need to record audio on my PC but the quality isn't very good. Maybe it's just because it's somewhat old and used? Or the vantage is just better, which it probably is.

Commentorio: Do a YouTube search for "TheBlueHour microphone" to find out more about what a simple Rock Band microphone can do ;-).

Commentorio: Well, with special screen recording software. For Mac that would be Screenflow and for the PC you can get Camtasia. I'm sure there are more choices if it comes to screen capturing, but I'm not sure if any of them is free.
