DMB - Stolen Away On 55th & 3rd - Bass Cover Video

Hey everybody. This is maybe one of my favorite DMB songs... well maybe one of my favorite songs of all time actually. Really it's got to be one of the best songs to just sit and vibe to for hours or something. It's a really soothing song and I feel like I really relate to the emotions surrounding it. The way I hear it, it's about the Dark side of Love after there's been enough time to heal. Like seeing somebody lost after a few years or something.

"Stand Up" is also probably one of my favorite CDs of all time. The grooves on it are amazing, especially the basslines. Stefan really lays it down on here, and I'd suggest anybody that plays bass to try to capture his groove on it in some covers. He also plays a Flea Bass in most of the songs on it, so that's a plus for me. Really shows the tonal capabilities of this bass.
