Limbaugh vs Beck Video

Google Trends comparison of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. It appears Limbaugh is playing games with the media to get ratings as Glenn Beck out rates him. Limbaugh has been in business far longer than Beck but Beck is beating him as 2009 is coming to a close. Let's see what absurd thing Limbaugh does to get media attention between now and the end of the year. Glenn Beck plays the same game, saying such things as Obama "hates white people" which garners lots of attention sending ratings up.

AfriSynergy: Both of them use race to get high ratings which translates into huge sums of money for both. Is it racist to do this? Yes. Why? Because it emotionally puts people against each other while these guys earn tens of millions of dollars.

JuustinH: You need to look up the definition of "racism." To my knowlege, neither Limbaugh or Beck have stated any white supremist beliefs. Therefore the tactic of calling them "racist" can only be attributed to a tactic of the left to (try to) silence opposition to their policies (example: "socialism is the new N-word" -Carlos Watson, MSNBC). It so happens that one CAN comment "race" issues without being racist. As for pitting people against each other, that's a (debatable) matter of opinion.

AfriSynergy: Limbaugh is a bigot and a racist. One does not have to solute white supremacy directly or indirectly to be a bigot. Bigots lead the racists and the smaller bigots. Limbaugh and Beck are bigots who use the code words of not only socialism, but marxist, communist and fascist to mobilize others to attack the current president.

"marxist, communist and fascist to mobilize others to attack the current president" No. They use these terms to attack the president's policies & tactics. Union thugs as crowd control at town halls? Trippling the Fed Deficit in 6 months? Socialization of healthcare? Carbon taxes? What about these policies ISn't socialist at least?

AfriSynergy: Christ was a liberal, a socialist. These same idiots often call themselves Christians. Grand contradiction on their part. You all should have been complaining like this when Bush and Cheney were running up the debt over the last 8 years. You have no sympathy from me.

AfriSynergy: Liberal is a term that was first applied in a negative way in the US by the Roman Church. We see it in letters to President Lincoln from the Vatican. Liberal is a good thing, a good term but look at how so many of you have been duped into thinking it is negative. Liberals were against slavery. Liberals were for Medicare. Liberals were for vacations and sick days in the workplace. The ignorance of so many of you is amazing.

AfriSynergy: Liberal was the defiance of the kings, queens and popes of Europe. They have flipped this on all of you and have you seeing good as evil and evil as good. People have talked about race forever without being a hateful racist. Limbaugh and Beck don't fit that mold.

AfriSynergy: Rush Limbaugh is definitely a bigot, moreso than a racist. A bigot is a person who gives comfort and motives to racists to believe the way they believe and sometimes, even carryout deadly acts. Limbaugh has the power to direct a number of persons to think and act upon their malevolent thoughts. He aid and abed the thoughts of such individuals.

AfriSynergy: In order for Limbaugh, Beck and others to attract listeners they must incorporate a certain level of truth and facts into the conversation. Jim Jones, who led more than 900 people to their death in the area of religion operated in the same way. However, where it really mattered at is the area where he was critically wrong. Limbaugh and Beck uses this type of psychology on about 20 million persons in America out of 222 million.

retsep81: This is google trends, I already showed you that quantcast that directly measures both has Rush's site 50% over Beck. You seem absolutely determined so lie about this, and I just don't understand your angle because this seems a silly thing to lie about. Beck = 9M radio + 2.2M tv + 1.2M web = 12.4M reach Rush = 20M radio + 1.9M web = 21.9M reach You are factually wrong, and will not attempt to dispute these numbers, but just continue to lie. Interesting what that says about your integrity.

retsep81: Except Jim Jones was a communist...which means he didn't believe in individual freedoms like Rush does. Limbaugh says what he says and doesn't force people to do anything. Your example shows a deep bias and is extremely childish. Also America has 300+ million people... but who's counting.

retsep81: Did Christ say help other people yourself (conservative) or did he say give money to make a government tyrannically powerful so that they can help people on your behalf, but mostly help their political cronies (socialist)? Also saying that because Bush was irresponsible with the debt that Obama can be even more irresponsible with it is completely illogical.
