Breaking up stolen jewelry so it can not be identified Video
This is an informational video of a guy breaking up jewelry so it can not be identified. When a burglar steals jewelry they have to break it up so it can not be identified by victims. Once an item is altered is is sold for scrap gold price. When a second hand dealer takes in an item and they break it up prior to the 30 day hold end, it is a felony to manipulate it, to make it unrecoverable by the victim. If every person who buys second hand merchandise had to hold, ID, and report the items bought we would have a larger chance of recover victims property. Each victim of robbery is a rape victim, there sense of security is stripped away from them. There home is violated and dirtied. I know with my jewelry I have very emotional pieces that I cherish not for their monetary value but the situation in which I got it. From my Original Wedding ring missing one stone to my diamond stud earrings I received from my daughter for Mothers Day. I could not fatham someone breaking into my home raping my jewelry box then smashing the very existence of those memories locked into those pieces. These videos published on this youtube account is dedicated to all of the victims and to bring awareness to the trading of stolen merchandise, please visit FINGERPRINTNOW.com to join our fight!!
