In 2012 we could easily have a reestablishment of the Earth magnetic field which has weakened by at least 90%. This could be easily accompanied by a CME(Coronal Mass Ejection) that would cause an EMP(Electromagnetic Pulse).

We could get a crustal shift(poleshift), which has happened many times in the past and it does kill most people on the planet. Archeological sites have found blast sites that were nuclear weapons. We develop then disaster then we start over. It only takes 10,000 breeding pairs to ensure the replenishment of the human race.

rollsthepaul: The last time there was a big EMP caused by a CME was in 1859. The sparks flying off the telegraph wires in the USA caused thousands of grass fires. Anything that can conduct, will conduct electricity caused by the EMP. Today such an event would destroy all satellites, electrical devices, electronics and the recovery time would be 10 years optimistically. The elite are building bunkers to hide just before some cataclysm happens. That is why they built the seed vault in solid rock in Norway.

rollsthepaul: Read my comments in reverse order of appearance. When Web Bots first started in 1997they immediately got info relating to a major Earth event caused by the Sun in 2012. They were looking for coming stockmarket trends and this stuff about the Sun kept coming up. This must be a really major, major event because the bigger the event the farther back in time it starts to appear in the linguistic changes. Some really big event will happen concerning our Sun in 2012.
