Let's Blind Play (My Way): Super Mario Bros. Special, Part 1 - ...Wait, What? Video

[Note: Testing out a new intro, guys. It's not finalized or set in stone or anything yet, but the music, at least, is something I wanna go with, if at all possible.]

Never heard of this game (as I recall, at least) before yesterday, when I recorded this set of videos. I was quite intrigued, so, there you have it. Super Mario. Bros. Special. (For the record, I found the link to the patch on the SMB1 board at the GameFAQs Forum. I don't remember where it linked to exactly...)
Anyway, join me on a quest through re-arranged worlds of strangeness!

MrHateCrew: Liking the new intro. Pretty snazzy. xD
Carlitonsp1: Oddly enough, the Citadel in the beginning seems like it WOULD belong to the King of Random, everything about seems unconnected.
condeszadek: The Intro is very good, I like it, great lp Bohepans, maybe the letters in the intro could be more Mega Man stylish. Keep the good work.
chibiace: almost feel like doing a silent lets play of this game, lack of microphone right now lol
alice9thRevolver: I never heard the star music sped up as a kid..it's awesome. xD
BohepansTheThird: I believe I ended up hearing it often in 8-1. XD Most of my Time Up deaths in SMB1 are in that stage, so...
Simulation6: You should lower you desktop resolution while you play so it looks bigger...
Detheros3: Love the intro.
RazorRaven619: Smell victory? You can also smell the terror. "Terror...terror so real you can smell it! *Sniff* *Hack, cough* Note to myself: Never smell terror in a dump" You know you watch a lot of Bohepans videos when you start making references yourself =D
n1g3ld34c0n: O_O! I likes the new intro! Keep it plz.
ClassicTVMan81: I was the one who made the original request to port this NEC PC-8801 computer title to the NES. I asked all about it at RomHacking.
BohepansTheThird: Well I'm glad someone did, because I had a fair bit of fun with it. (Even though I got caught in a few death traps...heh.) So, I thank you.
ClassicTVMan81: You're welcome. Of course, the better original port of this particular title had existed for the Sharp X1 computer. Both computers used Z80 processors, whereas the Famicom/NES used the 65C02.
MarioFan82: "Note to self: Yo Gabba Gabba actually has good music. ... -Erase- Note to self: Never do this or THAT again. Ever. Hey, I know you will, just for the LOLz, well guess what. IT AIN'T WORTH IT." Oh damnit I did it again!
at1981: Hello! Thank you very veyr much :) This game are more playable now. This game was hard to play on NEC-PC8801. I hope this remake inhold all enemies too from the original version (for exampel crabs and fly from "Mario Bros"). Where can I donwload it? //at1981 (Ps. I hope someone take time to remake "Mario bros Special" and "Mario Bros Punchball" from NEC - PC 8801. Ds.)
