emilyarelyvictor: ok i live in las vegas nevada it gets really hot and cool on winter well my cuestion is this i ride a 2008 r1 i need new tires what brand is the best for this particular brand of bike im 175 pown and i ride hard enough to use some extra grip>>>>??
RedlineMS501: I would go with the Bridgestone 016, it's a little stiffer and won't get as greasy on very hot pavement. 2nd choice is the Michelin 2ct. Your night time temps are lower but the pavement will still be warm to hot until long after dark. Early morning rides - just be aware that your tires will need some warmup time.
emilyarelyvictor: thanx all my friends are riding now whit the 016's im going for the pilot do! thanx again!
Tecnoslandri: Ma quindi qual'è la migliore di queste 3?
RedlineMS501: Michelin 2CT overall best tire - best performance, highest price Pirelli Corsa III best track day tire Bridgestone best value if riding primarily street - good performance, low price
Tecnoslandri: Thank you!
mrapala: After 12k km on Pirelli Diablo Corsa (single compound) I can totally agree with this review. I've never been disappointed by this tire. But since I have never been on a race track (and probably won't be) I am currently looking for a set of something that can last longer, but will have enough grip on the street (I ride quite extreme, but rarely on rain). What do you recommend? Shall I stay with Pirelli Diablo Corsa? At the moment I consider to buy BT 016 or Michelin Pilot Road2. What shall I buy?
mrapala: I had two tires of course (both used) and both lasted 6k km.
RedlineMS501: I guess it depends on how aggressive you ride and in what kinds of conditions and road types. Why not try the BT-016, I think you will be happy with it althought it will wear out at around 7,500 to 9,500 km's. If you dial back your riding style a bit you can safetly try the Road 2 for the rear, I wouldn't put it on the front though. Put the 2CT on the front with the Raod 2 rear.
mrapala: I guess I'll take BT-016 on rear and 2CT on front. Thank you very much for the answer and for the videos!!
