Just the fact that America has military bases there and the German Consitution is written by the Americans deciding exactly what German military policy is shows the situation beyond doubt.

DonPhilip84: so what is the point of it all? there is always something like a "hack order" why is it that western countries are always attracting the most immigrants from all corners of the world then i ask? if things were so dark as some "sources" claim then this wouldn't make sense, even nations that actually have totally different systems than the west like china want to play "the game" the west has invented so to speak, so is there anything else to blame BUT human nature ? i don't think so!

histgeek3: I don't think this has anything to do with the Holy Roman Empire, quite the opposite with nailing down Germany permanently. You can tell the position of Germany in the EU by the facts that Germany is the largest net payer and that the German language is no official language of the EU, although it is the largest language group in the EU (D, A+minorities). Larger states are discriminated in the EU parliament (less seats per citizen), which is powerless anyway. And the EU commission is not elected.

histgeek3: Parts of the occupation law that are still in force say that Occupation law forces Germany to accept the ally's jurisdiction as highest jurisdiction. So most of the findings of the Nuremberg trials, etc. cannot be questioned in public, although it can be proven that most of it was a classical example of winner's justice with faked proofs, confessions created by torture and blackmailing (e.g. cutting off families from necessary food assignments), almost no possibilities of defense, ...

The whole "post WWII world order" is based on it, e.g. denoted by the fact that the UNO is nothing but the organisation of the "United Nations" that were Germany's enemies of WWII and Germany is the largest payer for the UNO, although the UNO charta is refusing the protection of International Law for Germany (+Austria, Japan; articles 53 and 107) .

Schools, universities, public administration, courts etc. are bound to the official version, even most politicians also don't know - and the ones who are aware of being collaborationist would never confess. Most of the leading media in Germany are still the same that got a publishing permission from the allies first. Thousands of books are forbidden, there is even no list of banned books. histgeek3: Due to leftovers of the occupation law (treaties from 1990), the FRG/BRD is limited to 370.000 soldiers (actually they have less now), they also got rid of most heavy arms like tanks, etc. I don't think many people in Germany would be interested in being a military power (even the Nazi Germany wasn't before WWII broke out in 1939, till then Hitler just replaced arms destroyed due to Versailles treaty). I would prefer a neutral (non-NATO) Germany without foreign troops in our country.

But de facto the status of Germany is the same as if this agreement existed because Germany is occupied, the "German" government doesn't allow the Germans to be informed about that the current groups of elites (politicians, media, universities) were placed there by the US and other allies. Any true patriotism is fought with defamation campaigns, patriotic groups and opposition parties are undercut and controlled by secret services, ...

histgeek3: I don't think so. The wall street maybe, because they own a lot in Germany. However, this is against international law, of course, so they have to keep up the occupation state to save their investments. Post-war Germany was built up as the "showroom of capitalism" against the eastern block. Since that disappeared in 1990, Germany is more and more going towards Manchester capitalism.
