I walked into school on Monday. Urgh. He was already here. Did he have to beat me at EVERYTHING!?

AT MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Teacher: And we have our 2 singing finalists.... Nick Jonas, and Selena Gomez. 2 best friends. This final verdict will rest on everything. They will win the school X Factor....and 2 chocolate bars!
Selena:(thinking: ohmygosh!! i HAVE to win!! Even though Nick is my best friend... I HAVE TO WIN!!)
Nick:(Thinking: ohmygod!!Im NEVER going to beat her!! This is the END!)
Teacher: And the winner is.... NICK JONAS!!
Nick:Ohmygod!! {Goes to hug Selena}
Selena: {Backs away} I bet you didn't FIX the contest or anything!! I HATE YOU!! {Runs off stage crying}

Nick POV:
(Remembering the same flashback)
I sighed. That was the last time she had spoken to me. I don't understand why it was SUCH a big deal! She wont even look at me now, and it was 5 years ago.
Oh well, I moved on. My best friend is now my worst enemy. So what?

Normal POV:
Selena: {Walks up to Demi} Hey smexy
Demi:Heeeey{Does the hi-5 they have had since they were 5}
Demi: Did you see Nick today?
Selena {scoffs} Was it hard not to? Hanging out with Joe and David he's pratically showing himself up!
Demi: Selena! How can you be so hateful?? He was your best friend! Why did you change everything over a little contest!?
Selena: Because, singing is my everything!! It felt like he had taken that away from me!
SELENA POV:
It was true. Singing was my everything. I was hurt that day when he had won. But I don't know why I changed everything. Now I can't seem to help myself bitching about him, or anyone he hangs around with. I sighed. I felt like a prime bitch.
