DBZ Transformations Video
A list of the Transformations for the good guys in Dragonball Z.
Normal Form: (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Gotenks and Vegito) This is the form that saiyans prefer, as it does not require use of energy to maintain.
Kaioken: (Goku) This technique allows Goku 2 mutliply his strength several times over. He has currently shown up to 20x his normal power using the Kaioken. This technique is very risky, tho, as it requires a great deal of concentration to perform correctly. If wrongly done, it can backfire fatally upon the user. The final product of this technique is a red aura that grows directly 2 how many times power is multiplied.
Oozaru (Great Ape): (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan)
This transformation is only possible if the fighter in question has saiyan blood & a tail. When a saiyan w/ these qualities sees a moon, or an energy ball equal to one, the saiyan goes thru a metamorphosis. The final product of this change is a huge ape & the strength of the saiyan is multiplied by ten, w/out loss of speed. This form is dangerous if used by inexperienced fighters, as becoming an Oozaru results in loss of rationality & reason. Only saiyan's w/ special training, like Vegeta, retain all their reasoning in Oozaru form.
Super Saiyan: (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Gogeta, Gotenks, Vegito)
Warriors w/ saiyan blood have the ability 2 transform into a super saiyan, a form that is roughly the equivalent of Kaioken 50x. This form is far less risky than the Kaioken, tho, as it does not lend the danger of backfiring. Speed is also greatly multiplied. The changes this form presents are green eyes, golden eyebrows & hair, hair becomes spikier & stands up taller & aura is also golden.
Super Saiyan 1.5: (Goku, Vegeta, Trunks)
This form is placed between super saiyan 1 & 2. Strength is roughly tripled & muscles grow bulkier. Hair also grows spikier. Speed remains the same as SSJ.
Ultra Super Saiyan: (Goku, Trunks)
This is a form that is between SSJ 1.5 & SSJ2. Strength increases even further, hair grows even spikier & muscles grow much bulkier. This form is very strong, but results in a massive loss of speed & requires much more energy than the normal SSJ form, making the user grow tired much more rapidly.
Super Saiyan 2 (Ascended Saiyan): (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan)
This form is the 2nd level of SSJ. Power is increased to the level of Ultra super saiyan, but w/out loss of speed. Aura is covered w/ lightning & hair grows slightly taller. 4 Gohan & Goku, a single lock of hair hangs down in this form. 4 Vegeta, the only noticeable difference is the electric aura.
Super Saiyan 3: (Goku, Gotenks)
This is the 3rd level of SSJ. This form presents more changes in appearance than the first 2 levels. Golden hair nearly reaches the waist, aura exhibits more electricity & eyebrows disappear altogether, giving a much grimmer look. The power given off by this form is so great that the transformation process can actually cause a planet to tremble.
Majin Form: (Vegeta)
This form is only possible by being controlled by the evil wizard Badadi. This 'transformation' allowed Vegeta 2 close the gap between Goku's power & his own. When Vegeta fought Buu, he showed strength equal 2 that of SSJ3.
Ultimate Form: (Gohan)
This form is only possible thru the training of Elder Kai. Once the training is complete, a warrior's true capabilities r fully released. 4 Gohan, his Ultimate form gave him strength greater than or equal 2 SSJ3.
Golden Oozaru (Not Shown): (Goku, Vegeta)
This transformation is almost exactly like the normal Oozaru form, with the same requirements 4 the transformation. However, this form is only possible 4 saiyans who have become a super saiyan. This form results in a power increase vastly greater than the normal Oozaru form, but the greater power comes at a price. The change 2 a golden Oozaru results in more rapid rationality & reason deterioration & primal saiyan instinct gradually becomes the only reasoning 4 actions. But if the saiyan in question is reminded of an emotional memory, or if that saiyan has already had training 2 control the Oozaru form like Vegeta, that saiyan'll be able 2 turn SSJ4.
Super Saiyan 4: (Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta)
This is the 4th & final level of super saiyan. This form is only attainable 4 full blooded saiyans. After the first transformation 2 this form, it is possible 2 skip over the previous levels straight to SSJ4. In this form, a saiyans power goes beyond possible measurement. The final product of this form varies slightly between Goku & Vegeta. 4 Goku, eyes turn golden with black pupils. Eyebrows return & the hair grows spikier & reverts 2 black as well. The rest of the body excluding the hands, face & chest, is covered by red fur. 4 Vegeta, eyes turn turquoise, w/ black pupils. Hair & eyebrows return to black & the body is also covered with red fur.

SonicvsDbz13: I didn't forget oozaru gohan, but would anyone really be able to tell the difference between his great ape form and goku's anyway? If so, speak up.
franky993: his power increases, that's why he did it, he said so himself that he noticed a drastic change in power in the other guys because of babidi, he never holds back on goku........

SonicvsDbz13: He was equal to goku's ss2 form only when he was fighting goku. When he fought Majin Buu, he transformed, not on the outside, on the inside. He went thru a transformation similar to that of gohan to ss2.
