Watching them together made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Joe sent me to the store to get chocolate and potato chips. I guess the cravings are the same. I bumped into a brunette.
"Kev?"
"Oh my god..Dani?"
"Oh my god!" i pick her up spinning her in my arms. "I haven't seen you..in..years Kev. Its been years since we played together. In fact it's been hundreds of years!" she kissed my cheek and ran her fingers through my curls.
"What are you doing here?" i ask her.
"Oh you know...hanging around. I..i have to go though..i'll know where you are." she says walking out. I sigh. We some how broke apart. Shes a vampire like i am. I changed her. We had a bond but it broke..i guess. I've missed her so much. And seeing her..made it worse. I couldn't help but think about her now. I grabbed 3 bags of lays chips and a bunch of hershey and dove bars. Then i walked to the check out line.
"That'll be..14.75" said the cashier.
"No..its free.." i looked into her eyes watching her pupils grow and then her eyes water. She smiled.
"Have a nice day."
"You too darling." I chuckle and walk out the door with the bags. Once i get to the woods its an easy way home. Man how i've missed Calvary Hills. I walk through the door and find Courtney out of bed and rummaging through the fridge. "Aren't you supposed to be...oh i dont know UPSTAIRS..in BED?!" i questioned. She turns to look at me and smiles.
"Do you actually care?"
"Of course i care! Thats my neice in there! Up we go." i pick her up and she sighs and then smiles. "I got your chips..and what not.." i say.
"Oh god put me down! PUT ME DOWN!" she yells. i do as she says and she runs to the bathroom. She screams and i open the door. "Oh god LOOK!!!" she jumps up and down and i chuckle.
"Yeah i see it.."
"Its such a big bump!"
"Court..." i grab her hand looking into her eyes. "Come with me."
"What why?"
"Just come with me." i bring her to the bedroom. "Don't you leave this room got it." i kiss her cheek and leave downstairs. Nick strolls in with Joe on his side limping and bleeding. "Oh no." i rush over to him.
"What happended?!" i ask
"Br-br-brady...holy..holy water..wooden...stick...AH!" Shit.
"Alright relax little bro.." i bring him to the couch and wrip off his shirt.
"Get it..OUT!" he groans. I wrap my hands around the stick and pull hard. He grunts and groans and i almost wanna cry. Almost.
"Get me blood..lots of it NOW!" i yell at Nick. Hes back in seconds with a gallon of the ruby red liquid. I sit him up and help him drink the blood. He gasps and i watch his eyes change from blue to yellow.
"Wh-wha-what..was that?"
"Human blood..from the last kill Brady made. I saved it knowing eventually it would come in handy. Its stronger thena animal blood. Joe im sorry." i say to him.
"UGH! NO!" he yelled trying to get up.
"Don't move." Nick says. "Joe..don't move."
"Why...NOT!!"
"Because..you're..badly hurt."
"I'll be fine."
"NO! YOU WONT MOVE!" i hiss.
