FRIED TO DEATH in attempt to get Money for Survival Video

Welcome to another edition of True African Stories
This is Matti Freeman Here at Desteni and today I´m looking at a story from the Daily Sun, reported on the 9 of November, Monday. The story is called: Fried to Death and it´s a report about a man who was attempting to steal electrical cables from a power station. He was cutting the cables with an iron saw and he already had some cut-offs packed and ready to go, but in the process of cutting the cables, trying to steal them he was fried to death by 98.000 volt of electricity. He´s body was so badly burned that he could not be identified. Now in this story, the man is called a greedy Inyoka, Inyoka meaning snake, so the man is called a greedy snake for trying to steal electric cables from a power station.
Now Greed implies that you have enough of something and yet you want more so if this man was indeed greedy for electricity, why would he resort to attempting to steal power cables from a live power station? I mean he climbed into the frame-work of this power station and with an iron saw was cutting the cables. Obviously an extremely dangerous thing to do and obviously not something someone greedy for more electricity would do I mean, this is obviously an act of desperation.

MattiFreeman1: because the current 'value' of money is based on a principle that is not sustainable, and because sustainability as Equality is disregarded - the system will fall to the point where Equal Money becomes the only solution - stability will not be able to be maintained within how the system currently functions and thus the way people live currently will not be able to be maintained. the foundation of the system changes to what is Best for All where the value of money is Equal to Life

MattiFreeman1: whether we vote or not - we give permission for the system to exist the way it does through our own accepted starting point in how we live. The most relevant action to take at the moment is to investigate how in our actions, we support self interest and inequality - and then change our starting point to consider what is best for all - and act for the promotion of a new system that functions within what is Best for All - because in this, we are actually acting in the best interest of ourselves

goonerfromjhb: So walking into a bank and robbing it is justified if you're poor? Shooting someone dead who's just made a withdrawl from the ATM is justified? Torturing & killing farmers is OK because I'm hungry? There are much poorer countries in the world yet they have much lower crime levels than us. The bible says its ok to steal a loaf of bread to feed your starving family, the bible doesnt say you should kill, torture and rape in order to obtain that loaf.

goonerfromjhb: Furthermore, this video is simply a lie and only serves to create attention for this so-called DestiniGroup, They have chosen the worst country in the world to use as an example for their ' lets eliminate the need for money cause'. Do you know how many people have lost their lives because of crime, how insensitive could you be? and then still get the story mixed up. Yes I agree money is the root of all evil, but dont use my country as an example when you dont know what you're talking about

BellaBargilly: Gunnar no it doesn't justify violence! we are demonstrating that people are the product of their environment &the circumstances they're born into. the system doesn't provide equally for all- those who have nothing often become victim of the scarcity & cruelty into which they're born we're demonstrating that money 'makes the world go round' but not equally- apparently money is limited =only so that it can be controlled and the world manipulated. this LIE must STOP.

goonerfromjhb: 1) The video is manipulating the content to suit its own agenda, this is not the truth 2) I am well aware of 'the sheep effect' in which society is being controlled by a select few, $ at its core 3) I have no problem with your ideals, although I feel its energy is waisted, people in this world who really give a damn tend to find their energy attracted to some far out cause, thus loosing their 4) Instead of waiting for your turn to speak/reply to me, try actually reading what I'm saying.

EztliAztecatl: The crisis I think is not really monetary, is a crisis of the mind, most people are greedy, selfish,vain and arrogant some in a lesser and some in a greater sense, ignorance and idiocy is vast along with mediocrity! Example: The U.S population spends billions a year watering and maintaining grass areas in private and commercial yards, for what? what if they all grow food instead! the whole wide world will be fed for free, see my point? is not even the money is humanity that is just stupid!

MarlenVargasDelRazo: This is proof of how real life events that go 'beyond' the acceptable are tagged with certain journalism adjective as 'yellow' - It's ludicrous to see how these stories that have a real-life event and a human life merely as 'background' are turned into sensationalism to sell - and even have a specific kind of audience that pays attention to them - though it is the only way to get to know what's really going on here This is making money out of news that show the lack thereof in this world
