If Fox News was a real news channel they would have brought on a MEP from one of the main parties in the European Parliament not the 5th largest party, a fringe party.

Anteater1234567: I was suggesting that it can just as well be "The [British member of the European Parliament Daniel Hannan]" as "The [British member of the European Parliament], Daniel Hannan" And given that there is the option for the sentence to make sense, we should take that 'interpretation'. Not to mention that people frequently use definite articles when there probably shouldn't be, and it doesn't matter at all.
