Tanat Valley Light Railway the First Weekend Video

The second day of operation of the Tanat Valley Light Railway. The railway runs into Nantmawr Quarry on the Shropshire/Wales border, and was a hidden gem that nobody seemed to know of until it appeared in the papers and on TV this weekend. The loco is a Beyer Peackock
0-4-0 tank 1827 which has to work for its living hauling the brake van up the 1:40 gradient into the quarry.

1258Martin: this is really great well done to you all , hope you carry on with this hard work.
bulliedsbest: Glad you enjoyed the video, I'm afraid I can take no credit for the railway. Despite living only a short distance away my first knowledge of it was when it appeared in the local press, I echo your complements to all concerned.
Maglona: Nice video, good luck to you all.
