-The Choice Part 2-

Miley's P.O.V

I woke up early on the night of the fight. I was nervous not only for me and Cody but for Nick and Selena.

It was about 5:30 when I arrived at Selena's house. The lights were off and the curtains closed? I knock on her door but she doesn't answer. Great. I peer through the windows but can't see anything. I knock and knocked again but still no answer. I ran the doorbell hoping that she was in but didn't hear my knock. I rang the doorbell again and again but still no answer. I sigh in defeat. She wasn't here...

I give up and walk back down her drive, heading down the road. People in our gang walking ahead, beside and behind me. I walk silently down the road, looking all around me for Selena. A familiar face but no. Everyone seems like a stranger to me. I keep walking down the road, speeding up slightly wanting and hoping to see a face I know. I start to speed up more, running down the hill, the voice inside my head all choppy as it would be if I were to speak out loud.

I reach the end of the hill, looking around, frantically, for Cody. I walk over to him, grabbing onto his hand, pulling it down slightly making him turn to face me. His eyes bore into mine as they meet, in a loving gaze. He greets me with his lips, I smile as they meet mine. He wraps his arms around me tightly. I smile through the kiss, I pull away.

"Hi babe" He kisses me again

I smile up at him "Hi babe" I sawy gently side to side, beaming up at him

He smiles at me, I turn to look and Nick and can't help but frown "On his own" I sigh

"Yep, still on his own" He sighs with me

"Where is Selena?" I ask, looking up at him, waiting for the answer. That he had seen Selena, hopefully

"I don't know" He look down on me, with a worried expression but trying his best to hide it

"You haven't seen her?" I asks, the same question, just making sure if he had, I knew he hadn't and I started to worry

"No sorry babe. I haven't seen her all day" He pulls me into a hug "Sorry"

"She's probably running late or something" I make an excuse, trying to convince myself and Cody that she was okay........................not doing a good job

"Yeah that's it" He agrees, unsure. Probably trying to make me feel better, not a chance.

He tightens his arms around my waist, rubbing my back in small, circular motions, trying to make me feel better, once again. I sigh into his chest, embracing his touch. He gently starts to stroke my hair, whispering in a softly and suttle town "She's gonna be okay, I promise" I smile listening to him say that over and over again. His warm breath hitting my skin, making me squirm.

I gaze over in Nick's direction. He looks over his shoulder, looking behind him. I hear him sigh deeply. As her turns his eyes to the other gang he meets mine. He look at my and Cody and sighs once more. He winks sadly at me trying his hardest to seem happy but fails miserably. He gives me a slight fake smile, the best he could manage. He turns his full attention back on the other ground, staring them down.

I feel his pain, really I do. I hate seeing Nick like this and Cody hates it too. Nick has been my best-guy-friend I have ever had and Selena is my best-girl-friend. Same with Cody! We are stuck in the middle of their fights and I know they don't mean to but they hurt us. I hate to see them fight like this. Yeah everyone has their fights but they can't get over this one and I don't know why?!?!

Okay Selena is stuck between love and family, I can't blame her! They both mean so much to her! And she has to choose. Just like Nick did. I have a feeling though. I know I do! I have a feeling that she isn't going to choose. Just like couldn't! When the Nick made him choose between Selena and the gang. Maybe she is going to ditch both? Why can't she just choose Nick!?!!?

I do feel for her though. If I was in her shoes I would..........I would...........I can't either!!! It is hard to choose. I love Sel but what if she chooses the other gang? It just hit! I didn't think about it that way. What if she leaves us? Me? Cody? Nick? Everyone? And more important!

I wonder who Nick or Cody would choose?
