My eyes-widen, "she cuts herself" I whispered.

Her head snaps up, her blood-shot eyes bore into mine. So full of pain and desperation. Her tiny frame shakes, her hands tremble as she places them against the cold marble that is now a pool of blood, covering the floor. She makes attempts to stand up but fails. Her petit body crashes to the floor once again, a groan escapes her slightly parted lips. She looks back up to me, still frozen on the spot.

"Nick" Her raspy voice calls me

I snap out of my state of shock and push all feelings aside. I slowly approach her, crouching down to her level. Her hands reach out for mine. I genlty take hold of her hand, the other snakes around her waist, supporting her fragile body. Her arms wrap around my neck, locking tightly at the back. She buries her head deep into my chest, mumbling words.

"You're gonna be okay"

I gently scoop her up, into my arms, cradling her. I tighten my grip around her her tiny frame and carry her over to the bathroom counter. I place her on the counter keeping my arm around her waist. Her head titls back, her eyes meeting mine

"No" She sounds sure of herself

I pull my tee over my head, off my body and wrap around her blood stained wrist

"Nick" She tries to get out of my grip "It hurts"

I apply pressure on her wrist as I watch my tee absorb the blood dripping from the open wound

"Why?"

"Why what?" She asks, playing dumb. Her eyes focused on the tiled floor, below us.

"Why do this to yourself?"

"I have to get to class"

She tries to slip of the counter but I stand in between her legs, her tiny hands push against my bare chest, trying to move me. I stand firmly propping my hands either side of her, on the marble counter. She frowns deeply, creating lines in her forehead.

"You'll get crinkles" I said trying to sound serious

She giggled through her pained tears "I think that's the least of my problems"

"I don't think so" I held back a chuckle "You want to look old?"

"No!" She frowns deeper, whining

"Then don't frown. Smile like this!" I pointed to my lips as they curved into a smile

She smiles along with me "Happy?" Her lips curve into a smirk

"Yes"

"Good"

"We should get you to the nurse. Get you checked over"

"Do we have to?" A whining groan leaves her lips

"Yes"

"No!"

"Yes"

"No!!!"

"Huh!"

"Nu-huh!"

"Huh"

"Nu-Huh!"

"You are!"

"Fine!!!" She sighs, pushing me away from her. Her legs dangle down as she lowers herself onto the ground

"C'mon then" I grab her hand pulling her out of the girls bathroom and down the corridor. People staring at me like I'm a perv, well I did just walk out of the girls bathroom with a girl, holding hands. I can understand. She giggles as people exchange looks, pointing and talking.

"Oh we popualr" She mocks, smiling

"Well for you there is a first time for everything" I smirked

"Hey!" She hits me playfully with her free hand "I was VERY popular back at my old school" She glares at me]

"Wrinkles" I warn her

Her eyes widen and stops galring at me "I can't get wrinkles!" She whines again, pulling down, hard on my hand, sending my right side of my body closer to the ground, losing my balance

"Don't be rude Nick!" She warns back

I chuckle "Here we are" I pull her into the nurses Office, well dragging her. She is so stubborn
