DIVON39: love the story rich aspect of this game...can't wait....i'll read the poem until then!!
azzam111: In the poem. Dante was never a warrior or a brave men. More often than not he hid behind Virgil.
GNRJaffa: Ya but in other videos they explain how they had to create a past for him as a crusader coz they wanted him to be "Badass". I get your point completely like i was just explainin:)
NarutoKyubi2010: this game looks awesome. In internet says this game is going to coming out to america at 9 of february of 2010 sorry for my bad english
davidx19: man i want this game BEST HACK N SLASH GAME!!
DrunkDeadman: Penis monster = win.
sebastion21: i completely agree
smoothdude200178: Stop bashing the inaccuracy of the game from the poem. This looks like a great game and does SO much justice to the poem. If they hadn't adapted a few aspects of the poem the game would not exist. The Divine Comedy's Dante was a poet, he wasn't anyone worth making a game about. A few changes allows this game to live. Just take it with a grain of salt. It looks like it will be amazing.
KurosunanoKazuo: Amen, bro!
TeutonicJoe: play Silent Hill....then look at Dantes Inferno....see how they could have done the game? Dante is a basic guy...the entire cast of Silent Hill are basic people...yet they still made perhaps one of the best game series i have played (SH2 being the best game i have ever played). They had the ability to make a game that could be very complex with a massive cast of characters. now we just have this bad-a dante that is more of a cliche tool of fighting rather than a hero you can sympathize with.
smoothdude200178: I understand where you are coming from. It might have made it cooler. Maybe to not play up his badassness SO much. I mean...He wtfpwns DEATH in the first couple minutes of the game... Maybe they could've scaled that down a bit.
Pyre: The only thing doing justice to the poem here is the artwork and visual design. The rest of it takes the source material, sets it on fire, and then takes the ashes to make something new, only vaguely related to what it was before. Whether that something new will be glorious, or a pale imitation of other similar games, remains to be seen. Not that you could have ever made a video game while keeping close to the original story; the basic premise of the Inferno makes that impossible.
Pyre: Almost every single thing the developers say is like a race with every other thing to see how juvenile and stupid they can make their game seem. "Of course each piece we sort of interpret a little bit differently" A little bit? Just come out and say "We took the layout of Hell from Dante Alighieri's inferno, kept the names from the poem, and changed EVERYTHING else, and also made it a kind of power fantasy". See how much more reasonable that sounds, instead of the inane "re-imagining" bit?
MHmaxify: even if the game doesn't follow the meaning of the poem and is altered in order to make the game possible, i think it does the poem justice by making you see hell the way it is, horrible, painful, and scary.
afrosamurai45: I couldn't agree more with you my man, you see how poorly they're trying to make it sound by comparing it to a stupid ass poem, PLEEAAAAAAAAAZZZZE! This game stands for itself not based off some fake writing
afrosamurai45: Dumbass the game exist now dumbfuck without the poem the game can be a hell of a lot better than some meak fantasy violence learn to listen to the directors next time fool.
afrosamurai45: Bro you are lame as shit, How dare you compare dante to that shitty ass horror game I'm ashame to say it (Silent Shit Hill) buddy you better get your balls right and play some Suffering then you'll see
TeutonicJoe: yes i did play the suffering. pretty good. lack depth though. and considering you seem to like the game much i assume your as 2d as the entire game cast. silent hill actually had depth, great characters, and good pacing. which is EXACTLY what horror games need! suffering was much like doom in which wave of enemies would show up and the only time the game tried to be scary was whenever something would scriptedly jump out of a door or something.
rarezas1959: silent hill is garbage and has nothing to be compared to dante's inferno, anyways the last boss, lucifer is going to be a really cool boss just like the one in dead space, but i have a feeling this one will be better
7m28: agreed.
virusfitzgerald: It's a F****** game. Stop acting like wanna be black queers and get a job and stop posting crap. (+) P.S. Early Silent Hill= Good New Silent Hill= Not so much (I'm sorry but it's true)
Alastarr1: @afrosamurai45 You totally missed what he was saying actually, he was saying the great story of the "stupid poem" will be completly bipased by the game.
istaggzrawrr: This is just my opinion, but, I find this game to be a bit more appealing to me than God of War, And this is a trilogy (or so I'm hoping). It looks amazing, great story.
ninesandaks: god of war ripoff
justinperez15: im excited for it, thinkin bout pre ordering
