Demon's Souls Fast Pure Bladestone Farming Video

This is my quick way to farm the black skeleton in the hidden passage of 4.2
Stats:
Vitality: 19, Intelligence: 14, Endurance: 13, Strength: 30, Dexterity: 72, Magic: 18, Faith: 20, Luck: 15

Soul form is necessary and Pure White World tendency doesn't hurt the damage output, but it does hurt the drops. Clever Rat's Ring and Ring of Avarice are important for added damage and soul count. Large Sword of Searching may or may not help with the drop rate on the Pure Bladestone since it's a 100% drop on the Skeleton.
Simply drop down and run around in circles to get the flying manta's attention and let him hit you which should almost kill you but not quite. Your CRR will activate so run on in and kill the reaper with hard arrows if you have them(I haven't talked to Patches yet in 2.2 so I can't get them right now). Drop down and pull out your LSoS. Run up and open the passage and switch to your bow again. Hit the skeleton with 4 arrows, roll back 4 times, hit him with 2, roll back once, then finish him off with the last arrow.

What used to take me 4-5 minutes to do now takes me 1 minute and 40 seconds.

LearaAomori: Why do you think I ran this in soul mode? You can't get invaded in soul form.

StephenFawking: I know this, Im saying to get Black World Tendency theres only two ways really, thats invade people or to revive n kill yourself, which cost green eyes stones, and when i do that it doesnt STAY black world, and in order to farm you need to go to the nexus, and when i go back to the nexus its back to grey world tendency.

LearaAomori: It should only ever reset if you log off. It never changed for me if I stayed logged in.

LearaAomori: Nope, the glitch is only online. You should be completely safe offline.

SuperGuyincognito: StephenFawking, I went from 120 to 150-something, farming the dual katana black phantom (the >50000 soul one), before I got a pure bladestone drop.

StephenFawking: yea i finally got it too, but not from the spot in the video, the black phantom as well, and honestly i did about 30 runs off of that guy before i got it, compared to 3 days off this spot in the video and not getting ANYTHING. Black Phantom Spot is way better. When I finally got it, i was SL 222, so from 175-222 just trying to find bladestones, i still need to find hunks of greystones, and chunks of marrow stones, but those are WAY easier then Bladestones

youdamanyoudaman: what are pure ores used for i have the game but iv never seen anything 4 upgradeing with pure ore

LearaAomori: They are used for the final upgrades for that type of weapon. For instance: A Sharp Blade +4 requires X amount of shards of bladestone, Y amount of chunks of bladestone, and 1 pure bladestone.

LearaAomori: You go to the blacksmith in World 2-1, where you have to backtrack along an upper path to start an elevator that leads to his smithy. You go to him and hit upgrade, which will show you which weapons you have on you that can be upgraded. Select your Sharp Weapon+4 and if you have everything, make it +5.

4myke24: HOW DO I GETT THE "large sword of searching"?? I've ttried the 8+ on a curved sword didn't WORK!!! Ne other wayz ?? Plzz help ( thunder2lighting)

kikilllo07: is there a better sword than northern regalia? how can i use the sword of moonlight??

LearaAomori: I prefer the Morion blade, simply because I play at <30% hp and use a bow. And just get the stats for the Sword of Moonlight to use it.....

LearaAomori: Keep killing him -_-. It's a rare as hell drop.

kikilllo07: u should speak to blacksmith ed if he doesn't give u the option, just keep talking to him. i got mine with a uchigatana +8 and the old hero's soul
