jcschick121: Yours turned out so well! When I do water marbling the nail polish just doesnt stick to the nail it looks thick and it almost looks like it melts off. Do you use cold water or what?

CarlyMooBarly: I use room temperature water, however you could use cool water, not cold though, if you plan to make the design quick. Its probably thick because you may make too many layers (rings). If that is the case, drop one color in and let it sit for a sec then drop the next color and so on. Dont do too many rings though because then the polish will be too thick and thats why it slides off the nail. It works best if only a few rings are added.
sugababy677: it came out sooo pretty!! wen i try to do this the 1st drop of nail polish spreads into ththe water sort of but the second drop jst sit there in the middle
CarlyMooBarly: Yeah I had it do that before too, try a different nail polish, that might help!! I have found that not all polishes work the best for this! Hope that helps!! =D

Yes if you try this on your real nails you do have to dunk your whole finger in, but before you do watch my nail marbling on natural nails video. zuerigiirl: well, i watched your other video on nailmarbling on natural nails and i tried it out. i actually worked good, but sometimes, the drops of my nailpolish just wont spread out and just swimm above the water as a fat drop... could you give me a tipp? but you did a great job on the other video too, i loved it!!!!
CarlyMooBarly: Oh I get that sometimes too, Not all polishes work well for water marbling. The only suggestion I have is to try another polish!! I really hope that helps!!! <3 Im glad you liked my videos! That means a lot to me! Thanks!!

CarlyMooBarly: make sure it is room temperature not too hot not to cold. Cold will make it unworkable and hot will make it so the polish will never dry on the nail it will just slide off.
