Challenge "Use Wicked Weaves!"

- Verse 11 is located near the Gates of Hell (after using the hourglass) in that tunnel where you came from originally.

This is where knowing how to use Dodge Offset tactics is valuable.. it allows you to easily use Wicked Weaves (that hair punch/kicks) without touching the enemies with your normal attacks (which will just cause a knockback on you canceling your attacks).

Basically Dodge Offset is to do a combo and dodge an attack then resuming the combo.
This is done by holding the last button used before you use dodge, then directly after dodging you resume finishing that combo.

In this case, the quickest combo chain to Wicked Weave is PKP.

01) Punch (you'll do a punch attack)
02) Hold Kick then quickly Dodge (you'll cancel the kick attack and do a backflip)
03) Punch *while holding Kick button still* (you'll do the Wicked Weave Punch attack)

The reason why I used the sword instead of melee or whip is because it is very and have a nice frontal area attack that can hit enemies in front of me.

Dallahan: Did they really give her a move that broken? That's as broken as the flying swallow (Ninja gaiden 2) with the true dragon sword. Either way good job on not getting hit.

MasterLL: Nah, the sword is suppose to hit that hard (don't forget these are just normal beginning enemies too). The downside is that the lack of combo points you can get from the attacks, which greatly hurts you on Versus that requires tons of points.

oneupdawg: I never found the flying swallow to be broken in NGS2. In higher difficulties it's hard enough to land a hit with it.

oneupdawg: MasterLL, are these challenges reminiscent to the DMC ones where they're scattered throughout the levels?
