NASA's Secret Space Plane Air Force X 37B Video

You would think that an unpiloted space plane built to rocket spaceward from Florida atop an Atlas booster, circle the planet for an extended time, then land on autopilot on a California runway would be big news. But for the U.S. Air Force X-37B project — seemingly, mum's the word.

miniplus: This is test vehicle. It's an unmanned mini-shuttle (27 ft 6 in (8.38 m) vs. 122.17 ft (37.24 m)). It is scheduled for an orbital test flight in April 2010. It may be useful in itself, as well as a prototype for a future manned version. I hope they proceed with the test orbit. We need stuff like this.
