Monsters vs Aliens: The Untold Story - New Tomorrowland - Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Video

As you know, over the past few months, I have brought you videos of my space themed water ride "Gallaxhar Earth Invasion."

Of course, Version 6, I thought, needed a good amount of work to be better. And I also thought that I needed to better tie the ride in with the 2009 movie Monsters vs. Aliens.

Hence, Gallaxhar Invasion is now officially known as Monsters vs. Aliens: The Untold Story. The ride, however, is still the same space battle concept. Consider this ride to be a cross between Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Star Tours.

Monsters vs. Aliens: The Untold Story has a number of improvements inside the show building, such as several strobe tunnels on the lift hills, and the addition of some new ships both inside the show building and in the sattelite building housing the station.

The entire story of the ride has changed completely, too. Compared to Version 6, the storyline of The Untold Story is meant to run alongside the plot of the main movie:

While you only saw Gallaxhar as having one ship and cloning himself to create an army, The Untold Story is much more expansive on the subject. Only one ship is seen in the movie, but in reality, when the attempt to capture the quantonium substance with a robotic probe failed (destroying the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in the process), Gallaxhar called an armada of spaceships to Earth to invade the planet. So while the Monsters (held captive in Area 51, Nevada) were defeating Gallaxhar on his flagship, NASA had actually sent every available spacecraft across the world into space. For the ride, guests in Tomorrowland are assisting NASA in defeating the Gallaxhar Armada.

Which Tomorrowland would this ride be appropriate for? Well, if I could place it somewhere, this ride would be at the Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World), and take up a space just to the north of Space Mountain, with the queue line and exit path crossing under the railroad to reach it.

Music:
"There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" - Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland area music
Theme from Armageddon

Both tracks remixed with Audacity.

IMPORTANT: While adding upgrades to the ride in the process of transforming the ride into this version, I accidentally deleted a piece of star wall, revealing the outside wall of the building. I'll ask that you consider it to be something like the front of a giant Vogon battle destroyer.
