Give Love A Try (S2) ch. 23 Video

*Nicks POV*
We're at the doctors office for Alexs ultrasound. I cant believe how fast everything has been going. Now her dad and I get along, its not a problem to live in their house. Her cravings and odd behavior get worse with every passing week but it doesnt bother me. And her mom has been going crazy buying baby things. She doesnt even know the gender and she thinks its a girl. So there I was, sitting by her side, holding her hand. We specifically asked for a female doctor because a guy wouldve been awkward...

"So, Alexis, is it?" she asked. She nodded and smiled at her. "Your the father right?" she asked as she turned to me. I told her yes and she looked at me weird. She must recognize me. "You look a lot like that singer umm... Mick Jones? I think thats him" she said, astonished. "Yeahhh I've heard that" I replied. Mick Jones? Wow.

"Don't be surprised if this is cold" she whispered. I looked up at the screen, there was my baby-- wait theres' another one. Make that my babieS. "Ummm... are those twins? Twins don't run in my family" I panicked. Alex squeezed my hand, "It's alright, it's my family" I could tell from her face that she was surprised to be having twins.

"Are they boys or girls?" she asked. "Ummm... you're in luck. You have fraternal twins! This one is a boy and this one is a girl " she explained. "My God... That is... so unexpected" she mumbled. "They're in perfect health; youre taking care of them very well. They're due in the next 2 months, you should be very happy. If one baby is a blessing imagine two!" Alex laughed awkwardly and tried to get up.

"We should be going, thank you so much "I told her. I looked her in the eye and touched her shoulder. I gave her that look that told someone that you were happy. I am, Im happy to be having Alexs child.. well children. She started sobbing and I asked what was wrong. "Twins?! Oh my GOD Nick. It'll be like twice the pain! "she snapped. We went into the reception area where her parents waited for us. "So...?" her mom said. Alex whispered it in her ear. "Oh God. Are you sure? Well... the more the merrier, I guess?"

Alex cried on her shoulder as her mom rubbed her back. "It'll be okay, sweetie" She gave me a warm, comforting look. I have a feeling it might not turn out okay...
