this is part 1 my first rant comparison between the XBOX360 and the Playstation 3, I am NOT a fanboy of any of the systems, I played the PS3, the 360 and the Wii this is just a comparison rant on the PS3 and 360

uchihaclankiller09: lol everyone so vile to each other. i own all three but i personally prefer ps3.every argument against ps3 is from i see is invalid. the PSN is a superb online gaming network that rivals that of the 360 yes it does lag sometimes just like 360 its not perfect. please dont show your stupidity and say it doesnt. and to have a service such as the psn and for it to be free. is reason enough to own 1. price isnt a factor anymore where both systems have an affordable 299 pricetag

gunsnipe033795: doesn't come with HDMI cables anymore (fuckin idiot). Blu-Ray is essential now, they hold more data on them than those pitiful HD DVD's and intall based games gives the system an advantage, game's can load faster and take the load off the machine so that they can last longer and it's sad that you got to buy AA batteries for those bricks you call controllers. you can get a rechargable battery for the conttroller; but you're shelling out more money to microsoft for it

battfinkz: blu ray essential? what you havent heard of two disks? oh and the only games that take up tons of blu ray disk space are exclusives. multi platforms never will so essential? oh and the recharge battery is half the price of a headset, which we have to buy for our ps3 no? also ps3 games still take ever to load, there's no advantage, the reason for the install is exactly what i said it was, cos of the cheap ass lens. also the 10 year old, wolly controller is a joke. its ok 2 be an arrogant tard

gunsnipe033795: It's also sad how microsoft has to copy everyone. the design of the 3fixme itself is the same design of a Dell Optiplex GX280. The avatars, Nintendo's Wii people and the cu de glas, project natal is a direct rip off from the PlayStation Eye. At least Sony is more creative than microsoft cretin. for once i agree wit ya that both have their flaws; but it appears that the 3fixme has BIGGER and fatal flaws than any other system out there.

00Freedom14: the only reason the multtplatform games are .26 pixels better on 360 is cuz its easier to make on 360 and they port to the ps3. which is why PS3 exclusives have better graphics is because it uses Blu RAy to its full potential. SOME multiplatform games have come out better on PS3 but mainly 360

battfinkz: i see what your saying but there is no 'copy and paste' when it comes too games on ps3 and 360. they are both built pretty much from the ground up, with seperate coding.even some exclusives suffer from the complexity od the ps3. just because they take up huge amounts of memory on the blu ray disks doesnt really mean much. there hasnt been a single exclusive on either console thats blown me away. best games visually for me last year were fight night, resi 5, dirt 2, 1943, SF4 among others.

KillerUnleashed: That multi platform stuff is bull shit and you know it! They games are one par now and developers and now favouring the PS3 more, an example Assassins Creed 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2. Also try to remember the games that turned out better and the developers acutally admitted to being better, Bioshock, Oblivion, Unreal Tournament 3 (BOTTOM LINE MOD SUPPORT). The only games that suffered lazy developer syndrome where Rainbow Six Vegas, The Orange Box, and Splinter Cell Double Agent.

KillerUnleashed: The word of first Assassians creed was all BS seeming they were doing comparisons with the HDMI without RGB Full range and Superwhite. Any there is seriously NO DIFFERENCE to LIVE. LIVE is Internet, PSN is Internet the only thing is ITS FREE. Saves us money to but MORE GAMES!

KillerUnleashed: About Blu Ray, everyone remember the developers at Id said Rage is going to be 1 Blu Ray disk (maybe 2 extras what not) and the 360 version will be 4 or maybe pushing 7. AND they certain games are dropping some of the visuals (the new Final Fantasy... can't remember the number) so that they can make it less disks for the 360.

battfinkz: no difference in live and psn? what about mute? party chat? a multitude of options making it easier and much more interactive regarding friends. private chat. much more detailed bio personalisation, far superior store and rental service. hate paying for it but after u pay more for ps3 titles i actually save. also bioshock was releases, like oblivion, months later on ps3, and they still are poor. screen tearing and no AA, also washed out colours make them terrible versions

battfinkz: how has dice favoured ps3 for bad company 2?. the beta was to balance weapons, and sort out the back end of the servers, and im suspecting it was also to fix the ongoing voip issue. the game looks terrible with the lack of AA, its going to be a repeat of BC1 on ps3 and 360. as for multi platform stuff being bullshit like you said, check the BF forums as the developers are on their saying themselves how there is no 'copy and paste' when it comes to coding 360 and ps3. games r built seperately

battfinkz: your right about UT3 though, thats the one thing xbox pisses me off with. they wont allow MODS and also they have a charge for everything or dont allow policy. im a bit pissed with sony too as i had a ps1 at release, then ps2 at release, then a ps3 and its crazy how much they got wrong. no wonder the boss was sacked not long after release! the ten year old controller is a joke, its about as responsive as my gran.lol. the only reason ive kept my ps3 is for MGS, GT5 and uncharted for my son
