Batman TV series - *Uncut* 60's episode! (2 of 6) (The Puzzles Are Coming / The Duo Is Slumming) Video

Episodes #65 & #66 first aired on December 21 & 22, 1966. They mark the only appearance of Maurice Evans as The Puzzler.

These episodes were originally written for the Riddler, but Frank Gorshin and the producers were in some sort of dispute at the time, so the shows were rewritten. (The Puzzler is one of Superman's oldest villains, first appearing in the early 40's.)

Since these episodes aired right before Christmas 1966, Santa Claus pops out of the window during the Bat-climb. (Santa was played by the pride of Kingman, AZ - film & TV star Andy Devine.)
