Curse of the Terrible Towel - KDKA Video

On December 21st, 2008, the Tennessee Titans were on top of the world. The team had just earned its 13th victory by pounding the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-14 and a trip to the Super Bowl seemed certain. But two Titans players decided beating the Steelers wasn't enough. LenDale White and Keith Bulluck were seen on national television stomping a Terrible Towel into the ground on national television. Thus begun the "CURSE of the Terrible Towel." The Titans lost their next game and their playoff game too. In 2009, the Titans started the season 0-6. The Steeler Nation had its revenge.

So in hopes of breaking the curse, a Nashville radio host had Bulluck and White sign a Terrible Towel as a peace offering and sent it to Allegheny Valley School outside of Pittsburgh. The school owns the rights to the Terrible Towel. Did Bulluck and White's offering ease the curse? Tennessee beat Jacksonville 30-13 two days later.
