Republicans on HealthCare Video
On the day of the House vote, November 7, 2009, after several months of debate, the House Republicans decided to rally their base outside the Capitol while votes were going on. I decided to see how many of them knew how many of their constituents were uninsured.
On the day of the vote, not one Republican could answer the question. The person in teh video that says he's voting against the bill but knew that 26% of his constituents are uninsured in Rep. Boren, the only Democrat opponent of health care reform I ran into today.

natesma0298: The point is not how many are uninsured, you moron. The point is that the federal gov't does NOT have any business or LEGAL right to be in charge of healthcare. This is a PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY issue. If someone is uninsured, they should be covered by Medicare. This is NOT reform. This is a power-grab for the federal gov't to be in control of ALL of our lives and health. This is not a SOCIALIST country, but will be if you idiots get your way. And by the way, evolution is a THEORY.

All this administration really wants is to be in control of every detail of our lives... Healthcare, carbon taxes... What happened to the healthcare debate being covered by CSPAN? Obama is a smooth-talking liar and is going to ruin this great country if his agenda passes. If he & the other Dem. leaders get their way, America will be a Socialist state instead of a Representative Republic.
natesma0298: He wouldn't be proposing the socialist-agenda healthcare reform. Perhaps he would propose and support a more realistic and non-bankrupting bill. Maybe something that would put those that can't get insurance for one reason or another (and WANT insurance) under the Medicare/Medicaid umbrella. That would be pricey, but not BANKRUPTING!!!!

I have cancer & since I'm 63 instead of 20, I can't get treatment (since I've already lived my life). I won't have to suffer through that terrible old chemo! I get to meet the Lord sooner. THANKS OBAMA!!!
necromx: Strengthens Medicare and Medicaid and closes the Medicare Part D donut hole so that seniors and low-income Americans receive better quality of care and see lower prescription drug costs and out-of-pocket expenses.

necromx: You obviously have know clue how much information has to go into a theory before it becomes one. Theory in science is different than using it generally. There is no theory of God existing while they have almost mapped out the whole human genome and found the fossils of most of the missing links.Scientific theory has facts to back them up where are yours you have yet to say any FACTS.
CDHIgnorance: My mom is 70 and she went through cancer treatment through public health care. She is fine now ,it cost her nothing and she didnt wait long for the surgery.I dont know how insurance companies can out right lie with that kind of propaganda. Living in a country with public health care I can tell you from experience.
