All one can do is expose the fraud and they were not self-insured and had no workers compensation, Consolidated Freightways lied on their 10-Q filing indicating they were self-insured however the Dept. Of Industrail Relations/Self-Insured plans REVOKED THEIR CERTICATE IN 1996. The 3rd party administrators TIG Insurance and Risk Management were the 3rd party administrators for the "Self-funded security fund" or Liability, came from the Bankruptcy Estate. The defense produced a compy of a workers compensation policy from USF & G that appeared to be in effect on the date of the accident. That polcy had a "selfinsured retention of $2 million, which would in NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES, meand that Consolidated would need a certificate of self insurance, which it apparently did not have. Consolidated Freightways corporation was in fact "self-insuring" without permission from the State of California, and that the USF & G policy was just "dummied Up." The security fund is. a limited compensation program through the state which paid me some payments but never reimbursed me for stop payment checks from Sedgwick CMS. Sedgwick CMS did not do their homework and investigate whether or not Consolidated Freigthways was properly Self-Insured, therefore terrorizing the injured.
