Although Democrats lost governorships in Virginia and New Jersey this week, the special election that a Democrat won in New York's 23rd Congressional District, after interference from national right wing Republican figures like Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty, may tell more about the future of the parties as I show in this video.

imarealgamer: Well I meant that since only republicans are in the republican party, only republicans would be leaving. Afterwards, they would be just conservatives I guess. I mean they would soffocate as in they would dissolve as a party. It would thin out to nothing.

So when you say suffocate maybe you mean disapate or disolve so dissolve and suffocate do nto mean anything of the same things. These are the sorts of thinking and words that you are doing that give Liberals the apperance of being crazy and or insane like. Nothing on upstairs. No sense, common sense.

If you fed some gas into the venting system then yes they woudl suffocate.. It stands to reason that this would cause these REP members to dissolve from the REP party. You Catatrophize in your minds and your words. Just like Liberals do with Global warming and most all else. You do said suffocate out of context

SpiralUp1: I understand figurative speech. I just think Liberal use figurative speech out of contexts. As in it's it really a flat road and you could say a hill but instead they will use mountain. To me that takes away the intent you want to get across because it's so obviously way out of porportion and or contexts. That is just my opinion and it does cause me and likely other conservatives to possibly not hear you as the mind shifts to the opposite extreme of your intented meaning. you get that?

CookCountyDissident: LOL The NJ and VA racesdidnt mean a thing? Keep thinking that way. Little Barack campaigned 5 times there and the people rejected his candidate. In NY-23 the GOP candidate was not moderate, but liberal. As of today Obama job Appl is under 50%, The Dem Congress appvl is 26%, and the GOP leads in the generic ballot by 7%. Keep thinking this way. It is the Dems who are now the extremists, not the GOP.

While the gop is talking aboutdeath panels refering to the president as a nazi and disrespecting the population by treating the the first hispanic nomination to the supreme court like she had no right to be there. The man-child's approval ratings are sagging lower than Nancy Pelosi's tits and unemployment is still about 2 points higher than Obama's clueless so-called experts said it would be if the stimulus bill was passed and 80% of the stimulus hasn't even been spent yet! ShadedSphere: Just wanted to pitch this in. Racism is not only discriminating against Asians or African Americans or Native Americans, it's discriminating against any race. Last time I checked, Caucasian is a race.

Dziaji: You are right. The U.S. has never had 100% capitalism. But up until recently, it has been closer than any other country in history to being 100%. And if by "be a horrible idea and probably implode" you meant, "promote freedom and raise the standard of living", then i agree with that part too.

And Obamas ratings are holding at 50%, which is far higher than Bush at any point during his entire 2nd term, which, if you think about it, is remarkable considering the fact the most popular ews channel on cable has been attacking him 247 since the day he took the oath.
