( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 01 [part two]. Video
And here's part two! Again, so sorry about breaking these up, but like I said, you'll see why when you watch, haha. And as promised in part one, here is an excerpt from my novel, Origin:

There was prey nearby. A stag.
It soon came into sight, the animal realising the danger with a flick of its ears and a flash of its tail and then it was carrying itself swiftly through the trees with long, thin legs built for speed rather than strength. The wolves were on its tail, easily matching pace, and Cole's gaze flickered to the stag's head. It was a male in its prime, the antlers told him that much. They would have to be careful.
Lizabeth, being smallest and nimblest, came darting in soundlessly from the left behind Cole and nipped at the stag's heels to panic it. Eyes so wide that the whites showed in alarm, the stag bolted forward, stumbling on a root in its haste and terror. From the shadows to the right a mottled grey form weaved and launched. Theodore landed with predatory ease on the stag's back, claws burying in its vulnerable hide, blood oozing and flowing in streams as powerful jaws sought the back of the neck. At the last moment the stag threw its head back, antlers and all.
Cole felt a stab of panic in his chest as his father's grip faltered. Against what he had been told he ran in from the right, Lizabeth's sharp bark of surprise at his back. Without even thinking about the danger to his own health he lashed out with deadly fangs and tore a chunk from the stag's shoulder. It wailed and faltered. Theodore's jaws found their mark then and with a wet crunch he put the animal down and out of its misery. The stag hit the ground limply, dead before it even started to fall, and Theodore leapt spryly from the back of the body, avoiding a landing jolt. Jebediah and his daughter eyed the prize and sniffed at the body, the female's eyes flicking up towards Cole as he stood to the side, breathing heavily.
