Nick: You're still grounded.
Me: I know.
Nick: Same rules you'd have at home.
Me: I know.
Nick: Then you can stay.
Me: Thank you Uncle Nick! *hugs him*
Nick: Yeah yeah yeah. Now go to your room.
Me: *scoffs*
Nick: You're grounded, remember?
Me: Yeah yeah yeah. *goes into room*
Nick: *sighs*

Nick's P.O.V:
Why did she always chose to come here? I love her but she really needs to talk to her dad about the problems they have.

Kevin: *comes in* Where is she?
Nick: Upstairs.
Kevin: *heads towards stairs*
Nick: Kev-
Kevin: She's being a brat! She's just finding reasons to be mad!
Nick: She's a teenager.
Kevin: I don't care. She's mad at me because I said it was her fault about that tabloids. Which it is.
Nick: It's not her fault her friends got drunk.
Kevin: But if she hadn't gone-
Nick: If she had gone to the dance they would've gotten drunk on spiked punch. *pauses* Do you even realize Cara refused to drink?
Kevin: What?
Nick: Darren wanted to buy her a drink but she wouldn't. She knows it's wrong.
Kevin: I just assumed-
Nick: Did you also know that she wasn't going to get in the car with Darren when he was drunk?
Kevin: How was she-
Nick: She said she'd rather risk calling me and you finding out then being in an accident. It's also not her fault those two guys fought over her.
Kevin: *looks down*
Nick: She doesn't care that she's grounded. She knows she messed up but you blaming the tabloid mess on HER when you know how the paparazzi can be is dead wrong.
Kevin: I know.
Nick: Her world is also changing. Her dad's getting remarried, she's getting three new siblings, she was forced out of her old high school and she lost the love of her life almost six months ago. And you don't even realize it.
Kevin: Nick-
Nick: I told her she is always welcome here, as is Alexis and Brenden and the twins. Because i know you guys would welcome Ellie. But right now you need to go talk to your baby girl. She's seriously hurting.
Kevin: *nods* Nick, you'd make a great motivational speaker.
Nick: So I've been told.
Kevin: *goes upstairs*

Kevin's P.O.V:
The door was shut. I reached out and knocked. Something dropped and I heard footsteps.

Me: *opens door* Oh it's you.
Kevin: Who did you think it was?
Me: Uncle Nick. That doesn't matter. What do you want?
Kevin: To talk.
Me: Talk while I unpack.

I followed her in the room. She was a mess. Her eyes were red and puffy. Her hair was half straightened and half curled, the curled side really frizzy. Her shirt was covered in a yellow oozy substance.

Kevin: What's on your shirt?
Me: Baby vomit. *goes in bathroom**changes**comes back out* So what do you want? *begins to put away clothes*
Kevin: For you to come home.
Me: Why? So you can blame me for the Gosselin divorce? Or the kidnapping of Jaycee Lee Duggard? Don't think so.
Kevin: Cara I didn't even know the whole story-
Me: Because you never listen.
Kevin: I'm listening now.
Me: Yeah because I won't live with you.
Kevin: Cara, you're my baby girl I just-
Me: I may be now but what happens when Natalie has the twins? You'll have a new one right?
Kevin: Cara, no matter what-
Me: Dad, you're getting a new family. You don't need me to ruin it for you.
Kevin: Cara! Listen to me! *turns her around* Natalie could have sextuplets and septuplets and octuplets load of girls and all of them would be my baby girls. But you will ALWAYS be my baby girls. Come hell or high water.
Me: Yeah right. *tries to pull away*
Kevin: I'm serious Cara. *pulls her back* You're always going to be my little girl. No matter what.
Me: *tears pour down face*
Kevin: *wraps her in a hug* I am so proud of you baby.
Me: Even when I break the rules and sneak out?

Cara's P.O.V:
We just stood there, him holding me. I sobbed into his chest. Then I felt it the pain.

Me: Ow.
Kevin: Baby what is it?
Me: My *grabs stomach* There it goes again. *falls to the floor*
Kevin: What's going on? *kneels down next to her*
Me: I don't know.
Kevin: Baby you're going to the hospital.
Me: I can't move.
Kevin: *picks her up**takes her downstairs*
Nick: What's going on?
Kevin: I think it's her appendix. I'm gonna take her to the hospital. *takes her to the car*
