Come Back To Me- Chapter 28- Unfolded? Video
The tension grew by the second, and Nicholas felt himself suffocating. Eventually, the waitress broke the ice. A pen clutched in her dry skinned hands.
"What will it be?" she asked, smacking her gum rather loudly.
"Coffee." Kevin hummed.
"Tea, please." Nick said politely, his hands resting in his lap.
"Sure sweetheart." the waitress smiled, walking off.
"Umm.. Christmas is next month.." Kevin reminded.
"Uh- huh" Nick smirked, excited because he had been begging for a dog all year.
"Mom and Dad are probably going to insist on me coming back." Kevin hissed, playing with his napkin.
"Look.. Kevin.. You need to understand something--" Nick began, biting his lip.
"Coffee and Tea for the young men." The waitress interrupted, placing two mugs on the table.
"Thanks." Nick snarled.
"You were saying?" Kevin continued.
"I--- Kevin.. Things aren't well at home.. It's just been a hard time for everyone and--" Nick paused.
"This isn't about the damn band anymore is it?" Kevin rushed.
"I--Uhh-- No.."
"Nick what's going on? Mom and Dad have been acting weird as well. Whenever they talk about home.. It's just.. Not the same.. What's happened?" Kevin pressed on.
"Nothing.. We can talk about it later." Nick insisted, taking a sip of his steaming tea, he could practically feel the hot substance blistering his throat.
"Hot!" he choked, mouth gaping open.
"Wow Nicholas.." Kevin retorted.
"Can we talk another time?" Nick jerked.
"Umm.. Maybe.. I don't know.." Kevin sighed.
"Alright.. CALL me." Nick emphasized, his eyes glimmering slightly. "I gotta go. I love you Kevin.. Please, talk to Joe.. He needs you more than you understand." Nick pursed his lips, running out the entrance.
"I-- What?"

When Nicholas entered the house he shouted for his parents.
"MOM!!! DAD!"
"SHHH!" Mr. Jonas hissed.
"Hmm?" Nick raised an eyebrow.
His father pointed to Joseph snoring lightly on the couch, a plush blanket wrapped around his slim figure.
"Sorry."
"Do you want a snack?" Mr. Jonas suggested.
"No thanks. I'm kinda tired.. I think it's time for bed." Nick smirked, hugging his Dad tightly before proceeding up the stairs.
Mr. Jonas nodded and tiptoed over into the livingroom, laying back in his armchair, stroking his son's hair tenderly.
He didn't know how to help his son.. He had never experienced a shock like this before, besides the time when Nicholas was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Everything felt so different, and he didn't want to make Joe feel like everyone in the family had pity on him. It doesn't feel too great to constantly be considered as "sick" or "weak". Others cannot realize this until they are put in the position. Noone can relate to the way a person is feeling about their illness, the emotions are unique for each individual.
Mr. Jonas knew that his son always wanted to be moving around, instead of watching everyone take care of him.
"Ughhhh." Joseph groaned, picking his head up slightly to get a good look at his father.
"Hey buddy." His father smiled.
"Hi Dad.." Joe whispered, laying his head back on the pillow.
"How are you feeling?"
"Alright.. I guess." Joe shrugged.
"Do you want anything to eat. Maybe a snack or sandwhich?" Paul insisted, worrying.
"I'm fine, Dad.."
"Okay, if you need anything don't hesitate to ask."
"Mmhmm." Joe mumbled, his face buried back into the feathery cushion.
Mr. Jonas chuckled, turning the T.V on and lowering the volume. He flipped the channels and the Arthur theme song happened to come on.

"OH EM GEE!" Joe squealed, sitting up from his cozy place on the couch. "ARTHUR!!!" he grinned.

Get together and make things better
By working together!
It's a simple message and it comes from the heart

Well thats the place to start"
"AND I SAY HEY! WHAT A WONDERFUL KIND OF DAY! WHERE YOU CAN LEARN TO WORK AND PLAY! AND GET AONG WITH EACH OTHER!" Joe sang loudly, glued into the T.V
"Tsk.. You and Arthur, ever since you were 4." Mr. Jonas sighed.
"Arthur is the best, and he should be happy that JOE JONAS is singing his theme song." Joseph flipped his hair and chuckled, finally relaxing and laying back down.
"Can I watch the Yankees game now?"
"NO! DAD! NOT WHEN ARTHUR'S ON!" Joe yelled.
"Shhhhh! Okay, Okay..." Mr. Jonas sighed, setting the remote down and watching Arthur with his 20 year old son, who seemed to be 10 at the moment. Still..
At least he was happy :)

But Kevin and Joe told the story of the Arthur Doll and how they were playing with it but were supposed to be asleep and got in trouble with their mom xD So, I guess they watched Arthur as well! :D I loved Barney, Teletubies, Blue's Clues, Dragon Tales, Arthur basically anything that used to be on PBS Kids xP
