SELENAS POV
My alarm beeped 7 am twice before I turned it off and got up. I was in my long, silky, black sleeping gown. I walked to the huge walk-in closet and went to the section right at the end where my clothes were. Actually, almost the whole closet was my clothes. But it was all skimpy designer stuff that Taylor keeps buying me. I took out a black shirt and beige pants and went to iron it until it was perfectly crisp. I went in for a shower. Exactly 15 minutes, as usual. I put on my clothes in the bathroom and then got out. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and took out a beige jacket. It was November 5 and was getting pretty cold. I put on some lipstick and went to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took out the salad I had made last night. I placed it on the counter and replaced the flowers on the glass table with fresh tulips. I grabbed my bag and papers and went back to the room to get my metro pass. Taylor was already up and he smiled at me as I entered Good morning he yawned
"Good morning. Do you want a coffee?" I asked as I grabbed the pass and put it in my wallet.
"Nope, I'm good." He got out of bed and walked upto me Mom and dad are flying in tonight. "They'll be staying for three months."
I nodded
"They are having their annual party next week:
"Oh...Isn't it usually Christmas time?"
"Yea, But dad wanted a change this time. I already invited Rob and Kristen. You can invite anyone you want too."
I nodded "I will"
"Have a good day" he said as he kissed the top of my forehead
"You too"I smiled and left
Half an hour later, I arrived at Grand Central and took the usual train to school.
THAT NIGHT
I had just finished cooking dinner and laying the table when the bell rang. They were here. I took of the apron I was wearing to reveal a simple black dress. My hair hung open and I had the watch Taylor's dad gave me as a wedding gift on my left hand. I opened the door and smiled. Taylor's dad, Sam, pulled me in an embrace. He pulled away and cupped my face in his hands. "My beauty. How are you Selena?"
I smiled and nodded "How was your flight?"
He let go. I moved aside and he walked in "Amazing. That airhostess was just-"
"Sam, your wife is still alive"Camerons voice came as she walked in. She smiled at me and hugged me "You look gorgeous darling"she looked at Sam and raised her eyebrows "You were saying?"
"Nothing sweetie" Sam walked into the kitchen and inhaled."Food smells divine"
"Thank you"I said as Taylor walked in. He leaned in to give me a kiss, but I looked away. Neither Cameron nor Sam saw that.
Taylor looked hurt for a second, but quickly recovered "How was school?"
"Good" I said as I helped him take of his overcoat. He grinned at walked to the dining table.
I went and stood next to him as Cameron and Sam came out of the kitchen "Dinner is served dad"Taylor said as he sat down
I sat across him and Cameron sat next to me. Sam took his place at the head of the table. Halfway through the meal, Taylor turned to Sam Dad. "Your apartment is ready. Selena picked new curtains" he smiled at me and I looked down
