iPhone 3gs sensor bar problem Video

today is october 30th and i got the new iphone 3gs last saturday, and ive noticed that the screen doesnt turn off when i hold the phone up to my face, or even if i put my thumb right over the sensor bar, meanwhile on my dad's phone, it works just fine. any way i can fix this? thanks

tintuvjoe: you should see 3 dots on left side of the top speaker, make sure they are not coverd with or blocking, prximity sensor will not work if thery are blocked, get a flsh light and shine left side of the top speaker, you should see all three dotts

AMV9593: yea ive done that, i even did a hard reset. nothing worked
