ARMANIXXX007: I honestly don't care too much for or about L4D as I think it's overrated. Fun at first but then you realize it's kinda pointless and has no story, therefore I see really no point in continuing on with it. Half Life 2: EP3 is the game that everyone wants though. Hopefully Valve will make that game for PS3. The bottom line, Because Valve is an independent 3rd party dev., they don't want to miss out on the PS3 sales with the install base probably at 30 million units at the end of the year

It's not like Valve isn't a profitable company. They scoop up indie talent like gang busters. All that talent they pick up on the regular and not one of em knows shit about the PS3? ARMANIXXX007: staticbb, I agree with your sentiment. Valve are BS'ers. Newell is also a cunt....at least he was 2 1/2 years ago with his anti PS3 statement. But now, in Mid 2009, I do believe Valve wants and will program for the PS3. Why? Install Base. Back in 2006 and 2007, Valve could afford to "badmouth" PS3 because it didn't have many users, but in 2009 the PS3 platform can no longer be ignored. If any American company needs a reason to change its stancem, Money is it. Valve will be onboard.

Jaroldo23: Gabe himself stated that he dislikes and never plans to port any games to the PS3 because of it's difficulty and low sales. They are only doing what is best for the progress of their company. Why go through all the effort and money porting to what they believe is a dying and pointless system? It's not that they can't do it, fuck they can do anything with their talent and money, they just wisely choose not too.

blade0381: I love the PS3 more than anything. I have an XBOX360 but I rarley play it. I hate to say it but if you check figures on most if not all cross platform games the 360 copy sells like 3 or 4 times more than the PS3 version. Just like everything else in the world its probably about money. Maybe its not worth it to them. Who knows. Just a theory

Tagan55: thats because when you get good devs like naughty dog, insomniac, guerilla games, infinity ward, rockstar, crieterion games, and sucker punch you get good games on ps3. although L4D looks really good i could care less if it comes to ps3
