scottkube: This happened to me tonight randomly. I was online messaging friends from about 2 40- 3 00 and left it on for a bit, then came back to it and it wouldn't let me sign in.
ShadowRunner28: I've tried to find ways around the permaban, myself.....haven't foubd one, yet. What I do know, is that simply changing your IP Address won't work. Sony blocks your MAC ADDRESS from the PSN. From what I've heard, you can't change your PS3's MAC ADDRESS, no matter what you do. Now, I'm sure theres some 15 yr old cyber hacker out there who can pull off changing a PS3's MAC ADDRESS. If you find him, please send him my way, lol.

ShadowRunner28: Getting banned for Game Sharing depends on how OFTEN you game share, how many OTHER accounts are linked to your PS3, if anyone you game share with SNITCHES you out to Sony, and if you commit credit card FRAUD while game sharing. And no...it's not legal. Read the TOS Agreement. It clearly states that giving out your PSN account info is a BANNABLE offence. I can't believe STILL don't know that.

ShadowRunner28: All legalities aside. I just called Sony as well (not as if I needed to) and spoke to a customer service rep named TAJ. TAJ told me that Game Sharing was indeed a BANNABLE offence, if caught and that Sony does not support, sponsor, endorse or condone the act of Game Sharing by swapping your account info with someone elses, in any way whatsoever. SO, NO....YOU NEED TO BE UPDATED, smartass! Stop spreading disinfo! Some people here might wanna know the TRUTH.
