1972FordF150: was that just 3600 RPM ? or was that butterfly valve taped open ?

V8Jagnut: its more like 4400rpm. i have done some things to that engine i have not showen on vids. it puts out more power than it should. :)

1972FordF150: oh man I thaught that sounded a little fast. Like shortning the govenor spring a bit ?

V8Jagnut: yer i did a vid on doing that but there is 2 other things i have done.

1972FordF150: can you tell me the 2 other things ?

V8Jagnut: lol. i advanced the spark timing and up-sized the carb. id say it has about 4HP now. :)

1972FordF150: lol how much did you advance it ? and what did you advance on the carb ? the jet?. And on those vertical pull engines. If you pull the engine up to compression they will start a crap load easyer !! :)
