Chlex - My Idea Video

A humorous Chlex vid (and my first Chlex vid ever), set to "This Is My Idea" from The Swan Princess.

This video was created in collaboration with Melbee1985, so a great deal of thanks go to her! And also much appreciation to the lovely folk at N-S, who helped me find the perfect scenes.

By the way, watching my latest (Right in Front of You) seems to have also helped you pick a few scenes. :) The masculine voice that´s heard towards the end- the one representing Lex´s thoughts- is Mandy Patinkin´s, right? I´d love to get this album. I´ve got several of his, but they´re not available in Argentina.

Jade4813: It's possible! I've only seen a few Chlex vids in my day (and generally only those Mel has shown me), so I'm not sure if I've seen "Right in Front of You." However, I will happily check it out and if it is, I'll link your vid here in the credits! :) Don't ever mean to take credit where it's not due me! As for Mandy, I'm not sure. It doesn't sound like him to me, but I haven't heard MP in concert in a very long time. Howard McGillin (adult Derek) does Broadway; maybe he did his own singing?

Besides it could just be a coincidence since there aren´t that many images to use with Lex and Chloe waking up, for instance. It´s common to see similar scenes used by different vidders since we´ve got to do with whatever material we have, which in Chlex´s case is very little.

lexie171170: As regards Mandy, I got the impression the adult voice was his a little bit before minute 4 and particularly towards the end. Maybe I´m wrong, but it sounded like him exploting the graver range of his voice. In any case, it´s a very nice recording.

MSCIBET: I love this video! They also said that Adam Wylie was the younger voice. Regardless, the older voice is not Mandy. But is that girl the one that was singing in Ever After?
