EncompassedRunner: you had to see the whole thing, the reason that Boehner asked was because he *did* know the answer & wanted to get it on record & out to the public, which he brilliantly did, that Rangel was *unwilling* to guarantee changing that the Stupak amendment against funding abortion would not be tossed out when this bill goes to House-Senate conference negotiations, that what is now being passed b/c of that amendment being thrown in, likely will sneakily get a switcheroo..

Dubyaify: The reason it was passed was so they could get their underlying bill passed only to throw the Stupak amendment in the hopper at some 3'09 a.m. and it be only a tool to get what the Democrats wanted. Rangel just acted like a fool and spoke to Boehner as if he had asked him to come join his party. What a moron.
