Steel Hawg at Indiana Beach in Monticello, IN during Hurricane Ike 9-14-2008 Video

This is my On Ride Video of Steel Hawg. It was my 500th coaster. It's a fun little ride with some unusual elements. I look forward to riding it when there isn't a downpour. We rode it 7 times and were soaked to the bone by the time we left. Including us, there were about 8 people in the park. Almost none of the rides were running. Thank goodness for magnetic brakes. If we didn't have free P.O.P. vouchers and weren't already passing the park by anyway, we probably wouldn't have stopped. Remember to always be safe when taking on-ride videos. Ride a few times before trying to record. Get familiar with the ride. Always wear a wrist strap and be safe. Most importantly follow the parks guidelines, only take on-ride video if the park allows it.
