"Sweet Sacrifice" is the third single from American alternative metal band Evanescence's second album The Open Door, and was written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo. While originally announced at concerts and online that the third single would be "All That I'm Living For", requests from the band and fan reaction prompted the label to reconsider plans.[2] The single was first released in Germany on May 25, 2007, and in two versions: Basic and Premium.[1] There are no other known physical releases, however, electronic copies are available online.
