Honor Him/Now We Are Free from "Gladiator" (2000) Video

Gladiator is the original soundtrack of the 2000 Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winning film starring Russell Crowe (who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as "Maximus" in the film Gladiator), Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Oliver Reed and Richard Harris. The original score and songs were composed by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard and was released in 2000, entitled Gladiator: Music From the Motion Picture. The orchestra was conducted by Gavin Greenaway.

The album won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score and was also nominated for the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Score ("Anthony Asquith Award for Film Music").

It is among the most successfull film scores of the 21st Century.
