PA Nightmare on Elm Street is an upcoming 2010 American horror film written by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick, directed by Samuel Bayer, and produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. It is a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 slasher film of the same name and designed to reboot the franchise.[2] The film stars Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger,[3] a role made famous by Robert Englund, while Rooney Mara takes over the role of Nancy Thompson,[4] originally portrayed by Heather Langenkamp. The remake is set to release on April 30, 2010

studz990: its exactly the same as the original!! that film gave me nightmares as a kid!!

flipper33: at least the first freddy had style this clown just a lousy copy, if your gonna remake a movie at least try and change it, so it has a chance of being a good film, the orignal is too damn good for this remake to do anything but mar it`s name.
