Eileen Ogintz -- Taking the Kids to Yosemite Video

A two-day quick trip from SF to Yosemite with my daughter Reggie and her boybriend Dan Foldes and my husband Andy in October, 2009. We drove through a hellacious rainstorm to get there, cooked chili in a cozy cabin and had two more days of beautiful weather while we explored the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, climbed the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls and hiked to the top of Sentinel Dome near Glacier Point. We also watched the first two episodes of the new Ken Burns documentary on the National Parks -- America's Best Idea. We fully understood why John Muir so loved this place
