Solex moped Video

i decided to get the ole solex outa storage for the winter...

the lever bieng pressed befor starting is compression release

this is an old beast
with no clutch its jsut u go ur u stall and stop the motor and restart! no float on the carb its port injected i guess u can let it idle but thats if u disingage the cog wheel wich is that lever the was pushed down

its a unique and very rar moped!!!

its been sitting for 5 years and it started that easy!!!!

its not a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke!!! its a loyal cycle engine

animebsd: cuz i rebuilt it and saw that it was and it says online

robinhooodvsyou: I checked the technical data and it says it`s a two-stroke, where did you read the information ? -If it`s a loyal cycle, the exhaust port must be located at a half way of the stroke length(between TDC and BDC), and it must have the inlet valve(loyal cycle engines have an automatic inlet valve)in the cylinderhead. -I don`t know about solex mopeds but I`m just curious.

animebsd: it deos have the exaust coming half way down the cylinder and it deosnt need a valve!!! lol?!?!?! there just a unrefined 2 cycle engine
