Carl Sagan 75th Birthday Video

Carl Sagan's birthday is this Monday Nov 9th, he would have been 75. He died in 1996. Pictures are from the Hubble Telescope and the song is from Colorpulse SO OUT THERE Remix - Carl Sagan - A Glorious Dawn ft Stephen Hawking. I made this video just for Carl Sagan.

juliuschas: What a loss his death was! "Cosmos" is still an inspiration for the future, though it's nearly 30 years old. Sagan knew the value of inspiration--he talked a reluctant NASA into putting cameras on the Voyager probes, knowing how powerful the pictures would be. Happy Birthday, Carl, though 2 days late!
derekgingras: I agree. The Cosmos changed my life. Everyone should take a look at Cosmos, it's a long series but very interesting. Carl Sagan was the man.
nawaf19991: how did he die?
Teloculos: After a long and difficult fight with myelodysplasia (bone marrow stem cell disorders), which included three bone marrow transplants, Sagan died of pneumonia at the age of 62 at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington on December 20, 1996. After landing, the unmanned Mars Pathfinder spacecraft was renamed the Carl Sagan Memorial Station on July 5, 1997. Asteroid 2709 Sagan is also named in his honor. He was buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Ithaca, New York.
