Army Medical Corps in action Video
The Army Medical Corps is discharging another massive task in the Wanni humanitarian operations. Our Representative Kelum Gunathileka said the service discharged by them on behalf of the civilians fleeing the No Fire Zone is priceless.
He said the doctors of the Medical Corps believe that the hostage rescue operation is more successful than all other operations. All doctors who advanced with different Divisions in the operations met in Kilinochchi recently. It is for the first time in the Sri Lankas military history that such a convergence had taken place. Doctor Capt. Deshan Dissanayake said it depicted the success of the mission. The Medical Corps contributes to the success of the operations in an outstanding way. Doctors of the 53rd, 55th, 62nd, 64th, 58th and 59th Divisions met at this location. The commitment of the doctors in the success of the operations is significant. Although they can lead a comfortable life in Colombo, they are remaining with the troops sans staging strikes and demonstrations.
